Book Reviews: The Noticer & The Noticer Returns by Andy Andrews

The Noticer by Andy Andrews

Seventeen-year-old Andy had just lost everything, his parents, his home, his friends. He was living under a pier by the ocean when one day, an old man saw him laying there in his sleeping bag, and told him, “Son, step into the light.” Come to find out, Jones, the name of the old man, knew everything about Andy. Andy had never seen this man in his life before and was sure of it. This man carried and briefcase and called himself a Noticer. Throughout the book, Jones gives Andy, and a number of other people, a new perspective on life and the situations they are in. No one knows where he came from or where he goes every time he is not with them, but they think of Jones as a blessing. This was a real eye-opener for me and really changed my perspective on life. Pick it up if you need a moral booster.

The Noticer Returns by Andy Andrews

Andy Andrews has spent the past five years searching for the man that he owes his life to. Who is this man? This man is a white-haired old man that has a talent of noticing the little things in life. He is also the master of perspective. He is the man that has helped so many people of all ages find what they have been looking for their whole lives, just by giving them a little perspective. He disappears for years on end, never saying goodbye or saying when he will be back again. “I am always be around” is his most famous line, the one that keeps the hope alive in Andy as he searches for this mysterious man. Who is this man? This man is Jones. Not Mr. Jones, just Jones.

I read this book because I had read the prequel of this story, The Noticer by Andy Andrews.

I continued to read this book because even I as the reader was gaining some new perspective on life.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a new outlook on life.

I give this book four stars! **** (Really Liked It)
